Fantesca Estate & Winery was founded by Susan and Duane Hoff, who purchased the property in 2004. The estate is situated on the western slopes of Spring Mountain, a sub-appellation of the Napa Valley AVA. The winery's name, "Fantesca," is inspired by a character from the Italian commedia dell'arte, symbolizing joy and celebration.
