Frank Dorsa' (1915 – 1996) was an American inventor and entrepreneur, best known for his contributions to the food industry. He was the co-founder of Eggo, a brand of frozen waffles that became a household name in the United States.

Frank Dorsa was born in 1915 in San Jose, California. He grew up in a family of Italian immigrants and developed an interest in engineering and food production from a young age.

This invention led to the creation of the Eggo brand.

The frozen waffles were initially called "Froffles" (a combination of "frozen" and "waffles"), but the name was later changed to "Eggo" due to the egg flavor of the waffles. The Eggo brand quickly gained popularity, and by the 1970s, it had become a staple in American households.
