Frontierland
Frontierland is one of the themed lands at many Disney theme parks worldwide. It is designed to resemble the American Old West of the 19th century, featuring elements such as cowboys, saloons, and gold rushes. Frontierland is a staple in Disneyland parks and has been a part of the park since its opening.
History[edit | edit source]
Frontierland was one of the original themed lands when Disneyland in Anaheim, California opened on July 17, 1955. The land was designed to transport guests to the American frontier, a time of exploration and adventure. The original Frontierland featured attractions such as the Mark Twain Riverboat, the Golden Horseshoe Saloon, and the Davy Crockett Frontier Museum.
