From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

Fun Dip is a popular candy product produced by the Willy Wonka Candy Company, a brand owned by Nestlé. It is a type of powdered candy that is consumed by licking a candy stick and dipping it into the flavored powder.

History[edit | edit source]

Fun Dip was first introduced to the market in the 1940s under the name Lik-M-Aid. It was not until the 1970s that the candy was rebranded as Fun Dip and began to include the candy stick, known as a Lik-A-Stix, that is used to consume the powder.

Product Description[edit | edit source]

Fun Dip consists of a pouch containing two or three sections of flavored, colored, and edible powder. The flavors typically include cherry, grape, and apple. The candy stick, or Lik-A-Stix, is made of a compressed sugar similar to Sweet Tarts. The consumer licks the stick to moisten it, dips it into the powder, and then licks the powder off the stick.

Popularity[edit | edit source]

Fun Dip has remained a popular candy choice for many years, particularly among children. Its unique method of consumption and the variety of flavors it offers have contributed to its enduring popularity. It is often included in assortments of Halloween candy and is a common find in party favor bags.
