Garcinia dulcis, commonly known as mundu, is a tropical fruit tree native to Southeast Asia. It belongs to the family Clusiaceae and is a species of the genus Garcinia. The tree is also known by various other names such as rambutan and maphuut in different regions.

The Garcinia dulcis tree is a medium-sized evergreen tree that can reach a height of up to 20 meters. It has a dense crown with glossy, dark green leaves that are elliptical in shape. The tree produces small, round fruits that are approximately 3-5 centimeters in diameter. The fruit has a thin, smooth skin that turns from green to yellow when ripe.
