- Gifford is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Indian River County, Florida, United States. The city is part of the Sebastian-Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is home to a diverse population and a rich cultural history.

- Gifford is located at 27°39′N 80°23′W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.2 square miles (18.6 km²), of which 7.0 square miles (18.1 km²) is land and 0.2 square mile (0.5 km²) (2.78%) is water.

- As of the census of 2000, there were 7,599 people, 2,790 households, and 1,898 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,083.4 people per square mile (418.3/km²).
