Godrej Group
Godrej Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate company, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The group operates in diverse sectors such as real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, appliances, furniture, security and agricultural products.

The Godrej Group was established in 1897 by Ardeshir Godrej and Pirojsha Godrej. Ardeshir Godrej, a lawyer, was inspired by the lock-making industry after a failed attempt to break into the business world with his legal profession. His brother Pirojsha Godrej later joined him, and together they laid the foundation of the Godrej empire.
