- Green Oaks is a village in Lake County, Illinois, United States. The village was incorporated in 1960 and is located in the northeastern part of the state. It is known for its rural atmosphere, community-oriented lifestyle, and high-quality schools.

- Green Oaks is located at 42°17′33″N 87°55′35″W. The village has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11 km2), of which 4.2 square miles (11 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) is water.

- As of the 2010 census, there were 3,866 people, 1,212 households, and 1,024 families residing in the village. The population density was 920.5 people per square mile (355.4/km²).
