Greene King is a British brewery and pub retailer headquartered in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. The company was founded in 1799 by Benjamin Greene and has grown to become one of the largest pub retailers and brewers in the United Kingdom.

Greene King was established in 1799 by Benjamin Greene in Bury St Edmunds. The company expanded significantly in the 19th and 20th centuries, acquiring several other breweries and pub chains. Notable acquisitions include Morland Brewery in 1999, Hardys & Hansons in 2006, and Belhaven Brewery in 2005.
