Harefuah is a peer-reviewed medical journal that is published in Israel. It is the official publication of the Israel Medical Association. The journal publishes articles in Hebrew, with abstracts in English. The journal covers all aspects of medicine, including clinical medicine, research, and medical education.

The journal was established in 1921 and has been published continuously since then. It is one of the oldest medical journals in the Middle East. The journal is published by the Israel Medical Association.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor. The journal covers all areas of medicine, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and medical education. The journal also publishes articles on medical ethics and health policy.

The journal is abstracted and indexed in PubMed, Scopus, and the Science Citation Index. The journal's impact factor, a measure of the frequency with which the average article in a journal has been cited in a particular year, is 0.6.

Editorial board[edit | edit source]

The journal's editorial board includes leading physicians and researchers from Israel and around the world. The editor-in-chief is Dr. Shlomo Vinker, a professor of medicine at the Tel Aviv University.
