Harry Lewis was born in Hollywood, the heart of the movie industry, which perhaps predestined his career in acting. From a young age, he showed an interest in performing arts, participating in school plays and local theater productions. His passion for acting led him to pursue a career in film, a decision that would eventually see him become a recognized face in Hollywood.

Career[edit | edit source]

His breakthrough came when he was cast in the Warner Bros. film High Sierra (1941), where he starred alongside Humphrey Bogart.
