Hasan Şaş (born 1 August 1976) is a retired Turkish professional footballer and current football manager. He is best known for his time as a player with Galatasaray and the Turkey national football team. Şaş primarily played as a midfielder and was renowned for his speed, dribbling skills, and versatility on the field.

Hasan Şaş was born in Adana, Turkey. He began his youth career at the local club Adanaspor, where he quickly showcased his talent and potential. His impressive performances at the youth level earned him a move to Ankaragücü in 1995.

Şaş joined Ankaragücü in 1995 and played there until 1998. During his time at the club, he developed into a key player and attracted the attention of bigger clubs.

In 1998, Hasan Şaş transferred to Galatasaray, one of Turkey's most successful football clubs. He became an integral part of the team, contributing to their domestic and international successes. Şaş was part of the squad that won the UEFA Cup in 2000, defeating Arsenal F.C. in the final. He also helped Galatasaray win multiple Süper Lig titles and Turkish Cups.
