Henri Filhol
Henri Filhol (13 May 1843 – 28 April 1902) was a French zoologist and paleontologist. He is known for his contributions to the study of fossils and his work on the Challenger expedition.

Henri Filhol was born in Toulouse, France. He studied medicine and natural sciences at the University of Toulouse and later at the University of Paris. His early interest in zoology and paleontology led him to pursue a career in these fields.

He participated in the Challenger expedition, a pioneering scientific expedition that explored the world's oceans from 1872 to 1876.
