Herbert C. Conaway Jr. (born January 30, 1963) is an American politician and physician who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly since 1998, representing the 7th Legislative District. He is notable for being the only member of the New Jersey Legislature with both a medical and a law degree.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Herb Conaway was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He attended Princeton University, where he earned an A.B. in politics. Following his undergraduate education, Conaway pursued a medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, graduating with an M.D. He later obtained a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark.
