Hysterosalpingogram
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a type of X-ray used to examine the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes. It is often used to investigate the cause of infertility and recurrent miscarriage.

The Hysterosalpingogram procedure involves the injection of a radio-opaque material into the cervical canal and then taking X-ray images. This allows the radiologist to observe if the material is able to pass through the uterus and fallopian tubes, indicating that they are open and unobstructed.
