Impact Score
Definition[edit | edit source]
The impact score is the rating which is assigned to an individual application by an SRG(Scientific Review Group), and designates the reviewers' assessment of the likelihood for the project to exert a sustained, powerful influence on the research field(s) involved, in consideration of established review criteria.
Use[edit | edit source]
The impact score is one mechanism by which the SRG makes a recommendation to the funding component concerning the application's scientific and technical merit.
Values[edit | edit source]
Impact scores may be numeric (10 – 90) or alphabetical (ND, for example).
