Internet intervention

From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

An internet intervention is a type of therapy or treatment that is delivered through the internet. These interventions can take many forms, including online therapy sessions, self-help programs, and interactive educational modules. Internet interventions are becoming increasingly popular as they allow individuals to access therapy and treatment from the comfort of their own homes, and can be particularly beneficial for individuals who live in remote or underserved areas. They can also be more cost-effective and accessible than traditional in-person interventions.
