Isambard Owen
Isambard Owen (1850–1927) was a prominent Welsh physician and academic administrator. He played a significant role in the development of medical education in the United Kingdom and was instrumental in the establishment of several medical institutions.

Isambard Owen was born in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, in 1850. He was the son of a local physician, which influenced his early interest in medicine. Owen attended Clifton College and later went on to study at Balliol College, Oxford, where he excelled in his studies.

After completing his education, Owen began his medical career at St George's Hospital, London. He quickly gained a reputation for his skill and dedication, which led to his appointment as a lecturer in medicine.
