Jean-Dominique Bauby
Jean-Dominique Bauby (April 23, 1952 – March 9, 1997) was a French journalist, author, and editor of the French fashion magazine Elle. He is best known for his memoir, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, which he dictated by blinking his left eyelid after a massive stroke left him with locked-in syndrome.
