- Jenkintown, PA is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a small, suburban community located approximately 10 miles north of downtown Philadelphia. The borough is predominantly residential, with a small commercial district in the center of town.

- Jenkintown was established in the late 17th century as a farming community and grew rapidly during the 19th and 20th centuries due to its proximity to Philadelphia and the expansion of the railroad. The borough is named after Stephen Jenkins, a Welsh settler who established a tavern in the area in 1697.
