Jim Perdue (born March 29, 1950) is an American businessman and the current Chairman of Perdue Farms, a leading poultry company based in Salisbury, Maryland.

Jim Perdue was born on March 29, 1950, in Salisbury, Maryland. He is the son of Frank Perdue and Mitzi Perdue. Growing up in a family deeply involved in the poultry industry, Perdue developed a passion for the business from a young age.
Perdue attended Salisbury University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He later pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, completing the Advanced Management Program.

After completing his education, Jim Perdue joined Perdue Farms, the family-owned poultry company founded by his grandfather, Arthur Perdue, in 1920. He started his career at the company in various roles, gaining valuable experience and knowledge about the poultry industry.
