John Snow, Inc
John Snow, Inc. (JSI) is a public health research and consulting firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Named after John Snow, a British physician considered one of the founders of modern epidemiology for his work in identifying the source of a cholera outbreak in London in 1854, JSI aims to improve the health of individuals and communities around the world. The organization works on a wide range of health issues, including HIV/AIDS, maternal health, child health, family planning, and infectious diseases, among others. JSI conducts research, provides technical assistance, and implements programs in partnership with governments, health agencies, and local communities.
