The Johnson City Metropolitan Area, officially known as the Johnson City Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), is a metropolitan statistical area in East Tennessee, centered around the city of Johnson City. It is part of the larger Tri-Cities region, which also includes the Kingsport and Bristol metropolitan areas.
