Joshua Vogelstein is an American neuroscientist and biomedical engineer known for his contributions to the field of neuroinformatics and connectomics. He is an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Institute for Computational Medicine.

Vogelstein received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He continued his education at the same institution, earning a Ph.D. in Neuroscience.

After completing his Ph.D., Vogelstein joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins University, where he is currently an assistant professor. His research focuses on developing computational tools and methods for analyzing large-scale neuroscience data. He is a co-founder of the Neurodata project, which aims to make complex neuroscience data more accessible and usable for researchers.
