Journal of Osteopathic Medicine is a peer-reviewed medical journal that publishes research, reviews, and commentaries in the field of osteopathic medicine. The journal is published by the American Osteopathic Association and is aimed at osteopathic physicians, osteopathic medical students, and other healthcare professionals.

The Journal of Osteopathic Medicine was established in 1901 as the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association. It adopted its current name in 2021 to better reflect its focus on osteopathic medicine.

The journal covers all aspects of osteopathic medicine, including clinical practice, medical education, research, and health policy. It publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and commentaries.

Abstracting and indexing[edit | edit source]

The Journal of Osteopathic Medicine is abstracted and indexed in PubMed, MEDLINE, Scopus, and the Science Citation Index Expanded. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2019 impact factor of 2.75.
