The Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) is a state university located in Thrissur, Kerala, India. It was established in 2010 with the aim of promoting quality education and research in the field of health sciences. KUHS offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health sciences.

The idea of establishing a separate health sciences university in Kerala was first proposed in 2006. The Kerala University of Health Sciences Act was passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2010, and KUHS was officially inaugurated on 1st April 2010. The university was formed by merging the existing medical and allied health science colleges in the state.
