Fictional character biography[edit | edit source]

Crystal Frost[edit | edit source]

Crystal Frost was a scientist working at Hudson University when she was accidentally locked in a thermodynamic lab. She gained the ability to absorb heat and transform it into cold, becoming the first Killer Frost. She fought against Firestorm on several occasions before her death.

Louise Lincoln[edit | edit source]

Louise Lincoln was a friend and colleague of Crystal Frost. After Frost's death, Lincoln subjected herself to the same experiment that transformed Frost, becoming the second Killer Frost. She sought revenge against Firestorm for her friend's death and continued to battle various superheroes.

Caitlin Snow[edit | edit source]

Caitlin Snow was a scientist at a S.T.A.R. Labs outpost in the Arctic. She was transformed into the third Killer Frost after a failed experiment. Unlike her predecessors, Snow has occasionally acted as an anti-hero and has been a member of the Suicide Squad and the Justice League.

Powers and abilities[edit | edit source]

All incarnations of Killer Frost possess the ability to generate extreme cold and absorb heat from external sources. They can create ice constructs, project ice blasts, and lower the temperature of their surroundings. Their powers are often depicted as being able to counteract the abilities of Firestorm.

In other media[edit | edit source]

Killer Frost has appeared in various animated and live-action television series. The Caitlin Snow version is a main character in The Flash television series, portrayed by Danielle Panabaker.
