Kongiganak
Kongiganak is a village located in the Bethel Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2010 Census, the population of Kongiganak was 439, making it a small but significant community within the region.

Kongiganak is located at 59°57′6″N 162°53′29″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles, all of it land. The village is situated on the east bank of the Kuskokwim River, near the mouth of the Kuskokuak Slough.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 439 people residing in Kongiganak. The racial makeup of the village was 95.2% Alaska Native, 3.4% White, and 1.4% from two or more races.
Healthcare[edit | edit source]
Kongiganak is served by a Village Clinic, which is managed by the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation. The clinic provides primary healthcare services to the residents of Kongiganak, including emergency medical services, primary care, and preventive healthcare.
Education[edit | edit source]
The Lower Kuskokwim School District operates the Ayagina'ar Elitnaurvik School in Kongiganak. The school serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade and offers a curriculum that includes Alaska Native culture and language instruction.
Transportation[edit | edit source]
Kongiganak is accessible by boat, snow machine, and small aircraft. The Kongiganak Airport provides scheduled passenger service to Bethel and other communities in the region.
