Kyle O'Reilly
Kyle O'Reilly (born March 1, 1987) is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is best known for his time in WWE and Ring of Honor (ROH), where he has held multiple championships.
Early Life[edit | edit source]
Kyle O'Reilly was born in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. He developed an interest in professional wrestling at a young age and began training in various martial arts, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu and kickboxing.
Professional Wrestling Career[edit | edit source]
Early Career[edit | edit source]
O'Reilly made his professional wrestling debut in 2005. He wrestled for various independent promotions, honing his skills and gaining recognition for his technical wrestling ability and striking prowess.
Ring of Honor (ROH)[edit | edit source]
O'Reilly signed with Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2009. He quickly formed a tag team with Adam Cole known as Future Shock. The team was well-received by fans and critics alike. O'Reilly later formed the stable reDRagon with Bobby Fish, and the duo went on to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship multiple times.
In 2016, O'Reilly won the ROH World Championship by defeating Adam Cole at the Final Battle event. He held the title until January 2017.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)[edit | edit source]
O'Reilly also competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he and Bobby Fish, as reDRagon, won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
WWE[edit | edit source]
In 2017, O'Reilly signed with WWE and debuted in its developmental territory, NXT. He formed the stable The Undisputed Era with Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and later Roderick Strong. The group became one of the most dominant factions in NXT history, with O'Reilly and Fish winning the NXT Tag Team Championship multiple times.
O'Reilly also competed as a singles wrestler in NXT, challenging for the NXT Championship on several occasions.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW)[edit | edit source]
In December 2021, O'Reilly made his debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), reuniting with former Undisputed Era members Adam Cole and Bobby Fish. He continues to compete in both singles and tag team matches in AEW.
