LAC+USC Medical Center
LAC+USC Medical Center is a large public hospital and teaching center located in the Los Angeles County, California. It is one of the largest public hospitals in the United States and has one of the busiest emergency departments. The hospital provides a full spectrum of care from primary to tertiary, including a Level I trauma center. It is operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

The LAC+USC Medical Center was established in 1933 as a merger of two separate county hospitals. It was originally named Los Angeles County General Hospital. The hospital has been affiliated with the University of Southern California since 1885, making it one of the oldest teaching hospitals in California.
