- Lake City is a city located in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area and has a population of approximately 2,612 residents as of the 2010 census. The city covers an area of 1.8 square miles, all of it land.

- Lake City was incorporated in 1958. Despite its name, there are no lakes in Lake City. The name was chosen to reflect the community's commitment to creating a pleasant, residential environment.
