Les Brasseurs du Nord[edit | edit source]

Les Brasseurs du Nord is a Canadian microbrewery located in Blainville, Quebec. It was founded in 1987 by two beer enthusiasts, Michel Cadrin and Bernard Gouin. The brewery is known for its high-quality craft beers and has gained a strong reputation in the industry.

History[edit | edit source]

Les Brasseurs du Nord started as a small operation, brewing beer in a garage. Over the years, the brewery expanded its production capacity and gained popularity among beer lovers in Quebec. In 1992, they launched their flagship beer, Boréale, which quickly became a hit.

The success of Boréale allowed Les Brasseurs du Nord to invest in new equipment and expand their product line. They introduced a variety of different beer styles, including pale ales, stouts, and lagers, each with its unique flavor profile.

In 2008, the brewery opened a new state-of-the-art facility in Blainville, allowing them to increase their production capacity and meet the growing demand for their beers. The facility is equipped with modern brewing equipment and adheres to strict quality control standards.

Beers[edit | edit source]

Les Brasseurs du Nord offers a wide range of beers, each crafted with care and attention to detail. Some of their popular beers include:

  • Boréale IPA du Nord-Est: An aromatic and hop-forward India Pale Ale with tropical fruit flavors and a piney finish.
  • Boréale Noire: A rich and robust black ale with flavors of dark chocolate and coffee.
  • Boréale Blanche: A Belgian-style wheat beer with a light and refreshing character, complemented by hints of coriander and orange peel.
