Steroidal progestogens are a type of steroid hormone that bind to and activate the progesterone receptor. They are used in hormone replacement therapy, contraceptives, and in the treatment of various hormone-related conditions. This article provides a list of steroidal progestogens.

1. Medroxyprogesterone acetate - A derivative of progesterone that is used as a contraceptive and in the treatment of secondary amenorrhea, abnormal uterine bleeding, and endometriosis.

2. Norethisterone - A synthetic progestogen that is used in oral contraceptives, menopausal hormone therapy, and for the treatment of gynecological disorders.

3. Levonorgestrel - A synthetic progestogen used in various contraceptive methods including intrauterine devices, emergency contraceptive pills, and combined oral contraceptives.

4. Dydrogesterone - A progestogen that is used to treat a wide variety of gynecological conditions including menstrual disorders, infertility, and to prevent miscarriage.

5. Desogestrel - A third-generation progestogen used in oral contraceptives.

6. Gestodene - A third-generation synthetic progestogen used in oral contraceptives.

7. Cyproterone acetate - A synthetic derivative of 17-hydroxyprogesterone, used in the treatment of androgen-related conditions like acne, hirsutism, and androgenic alopecia.

8. Megestrol acetate - A derivative of progesterone that is used primarily to treat breast cancer and endometrial cancer.

9. Chlormadinone acetate - A progestogen that is used in hormonal contraception and in the treatment of gynecological disorders.

10. Nomegestrol acetate - A progestogen used in hormonal contraception and menopausal hormone therapy.
