London Borough of Waltham Forest is a London borough located in northeast London, United Kingdom. It was formed in 1965 from the merger of the former municipal boroughs of Leyton, Walthamstow, and Chingford. The borough covers an area of approximately 38.82 square kilometers and is bordered by the boroughs of Enfield to the north, Haringey to the northwest, Hackney to the south, Newham to the southeast, and the Epping Forest district of Essex to the east.
