Long Trail Brewing Company is a regional brewery located in Bridgewater, Vermont. Established in 1989, it has grown to become one of the most well-known breweries in the New England area. The brewery is named after the Long Trail, a famous hiking trail that runs through Vermont.

Long Trail Brewing Company was founded by Andy Pherson in 1989. The brewery started as a small operation in the basement of the Bridgewater Woolen Mill. Over the years, it expanded its facilities and increased production to meet growing demand. In 2006, Long Trail acquired Otter Creek Brewing and The Shed Brewery, further expanding its portfolio.
