Macademia nuts are generally considered healthy and supposed to help with reducing cardiovascular disease risk under certain circumstances. According to a statement from the US FDA, [1]"Supportive but not conclusive research shows that eating 1.5 ounces per day of macadamia nuts, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol and not resulting in increased intake of saturated fat or calories may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Nutritional benefits of Macadamia nuts

The seeds (nuts) are a valuable food crop.

In a 100-gram amount, macadamia nuts are calorie dense and provide 740 Calories. The Macadamia nuts are a rich source (20% or more of the Daily Value, DV) of numerous essential nutrients, including thiamine (104% DV), vitamin B (21% DV), manganese (195% DV), iron (28% DV), magnesium (37% DV), and phosphorus (27% DV) (table). Keto friendliness of macadamia nuts

Macadamia nuts are very calorie dense, similar to many other nuts and are considered to be OK once in a while on a ketogenic diet. The attached nutritional information below is for 100 grams although the typical serving size is about an ounce(28 grams) which will be almost a quarter of the 100 grams.
