Macrina Bakery
Macrina Bakery is a renowned bakery located in Seattle, Washington. It was established in 1993 by Leslie Mackie, a celebrated pastry chef and cookbook author. The bakery is named after Saint Macrina the Younger, a fourth-century woman known for her wisdom and philanthropy.

Leslie Mackie founded Macrina Bakery in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle in 1993. The bakery quickly gained a reputation for its artisan breads and pastries, made with locally sourced ingredients and traditional baking techniques.

Macrina Bakery offers a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Some of their signature items include the Olive Loaf, a rustic bread made with kalamata olives, and the Morning Glory Muffin, a sweet and hearty muffin filled with fruits and nuts. The bakery also offers a selection of savory items, such as quiches and sandwiches.
