Maison Pic
Maison Pic is a renowned restaurant located in Valence, Drôme, France. It is one of the few establishments in the world to have been awarded three Michelin stars, a prestigious accolade in the culinary world. Maison Pic was founded in 1889 by Eugène Pic. The restaurant has remained in the Pic family for generations, with each generation contributing to its legacy of culinary excellence. André Pic, Eugène's son, took over the restaurant and earned its first three Michelin stars in 1934. The restaurant lost its three-star status in 1946 but regained it in 1973 under the leadership of Jacques Pic, André's son.
Anne-Sophie Pic[edit | edit source]
The current head chef of Maison Pic is Anne-Sophie Pic, Jacques Pic's daughter. She took over the restaurant in 1997 after her father's death. Under her leadership, Maison Pic regained its three Michelin stars in 2007. Anne-Sophie Pic is one of the few female chefs in the world to hold three Michelin stars and is known for her innovative and refined cuisine.
