Anne-Sophie Pic (born 12 July 1969) is a renowned French chef best known for her work at her family's restaurant, Maison Pic, in Valence, France. She is one of the few female chefs to have been awarded three Michelin stars.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Anne-Sophie Pic was born into a family of chefs. Her grandfather, André Pic, and her father, Jacques Pic, were both celebrated chefs who earned three Michelin stars for Maison Pic. Despite her culinary heritage, Anne-Sophie initially pursued a different career path, studying business at the Institut supérieur de gestion in Paris.

After completing her studies, Anne-Sophie Pic worked in Japan and the United States before returning to France to join the family business. She took over the kitchen at Maison Pic in 1997 after the sudden death of her father. Under her leadership, the restaurant regained its three Michelin stars in 2007, a testament to her culinary skills and dedication.
In addition to Maison Pic, Anne-Sophie Pic has expanded her culinary empire with several other restaurants, including La Dame de Pic in Paris and London. Her cuisine is known for its emphasis on high-quality ingredients, innovative techniques, and a deep respect for French culinary traditions.
