Maurissa Tancharoen
Maurissa Tancharoen (born November 28, 1975) is an American television writer, producer, and actress. She is best known for her work on the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Dollhouse.

Maurissa Tancharoen was born in Los Angeles, California. She is of Thai descent. Tancharoen attended Occidental College, where she studied theater and writing.
Career[edit | edit source]
Tancharoen began her career in the entertainment industry as an actress, appearing in various television shows and films. She transitioned to writing and producing, where she found significant success.
Writing and Producing[edit | edit source]
Tancharoen's breakthrough came when she co-created the web series Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with her husband Jed Whedon, Joss Whedon, and Zack Whedon. The series was a critical and commercial success, earning a Primetime Emmy Award.
She later worked on the television series Dollhouse, where she served as a writer and producer. Tancharoen is perhaps best known for her role as a co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. The show ran for seven seasons and received positive reviews for its storytelling and character development.
