Metanx

Metanx is a medical food made by Pamlab that contains L-methylfolate (vitamin B9), methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (vitamin B6). It is a vitamin B supplement.

It is indicated for the treatment of endothelial dysfunction and hyperhomocysteinemia. In particular it has been shown to be an effective treatment for diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

Metanx contains the following active ingredients (per capsule):

  • L-methylfolate (Metafolin): 3 mg
  • Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate: 35 mg
  • Methylcobalamin: 2 mg
