Mika Brzezinski is an American television host, author, and journalist known for co-hosting MSNBC's morning news and talk show, Morning Joe. Born on May 2, 1967, in New York City, she is the daughter of the late Zbigniew Brzezinski, a prominent political scientist and former National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter, and sculptor Emilie Anna Benešová.
