The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment is a government agency in Antigua and Barbuda responsible for various healthcare and environmental initiatives. It oversees institutions such as the Mount St. John's Medical Centre, the Antigua and Barbuda Hospital Board, the Medical Benefits Scheme, the Central Board of Health, the AIDS Secretariat, and the National Solid Waste Management Authority.

One of the key units under the Ministry is the Health Disaster Management Unit, which was established after the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in 2017. Its primary role is to ensure that the Ministry is well-prepared to handle any natural disasters and their impact on public health.

The Ministry's Medical Division is responsible for providing free ambulatory services to the citizens of Antigua and Barbuda. It is composed of five main medical officers who serve different districts across the country. These officers are stationed in various locations, including Newfield, Jennings, Liberta, Parham, Bolands, All Saints, Cedar Grove, Bishopgate Street, Brown's Avenue, Judges Hill, Bendals, Swetes, Grays Farm, Five Islands, Johnsons Point, Potters Village, Piggotts, Freetown, Bethesda, and Swetes.

In terms of healthcare facilities, the Ministry manages the Mount St. John's Medical Centre in St. John's, which opened in 2009. This medical center has 185 beds and provides a range of medical services to the public. Additionally, there is an eight-bed extension unit on the island of Barbuda.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the population of Antigua and Barbuda, both in terms of healthcare services and environmental management.
