Missouri Foundation for Health
Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the people in Missouri. Established in 2000, MFH focuses on addressing health disparities, promoting health equity, and supporting community health initiatives across the state.

The Missouri Foundation for Health was created as a result of the conversion of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri from a nonprofit to a for-profit company. The foundation was endowed with funds from the conversion to support health-related initiatives in Missouri.

The mission of MFH is to eliminate underlying causes of health inequities, transform systems, and enable individuals and communities to thrive. The foundation envisions a Missouri where everyone has an equal opportunity to achieve their best health.
