History

• Mobridge was incorporated in 1906, following the extension of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad to the area. The city's name is a contraction of "Missouri Bridge", referring to the railroad bridge built over the Missouri River.

• Mobridge is located at 45°32′23″N 100°26′02″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.89 square miles, all land.

• As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 3,465 people, 1,533 households, and 886 families residing in the city.
