History[edit | edit source]

The Moskovskaya vodka brand was established in the 19th century in Moscow, during the reign of the Russian Empire. The brand was state-owned and was one of the first to be produced in accordance with the standards set by the Russian government for vodka production. These standards, known as the "Russian vodka standard", were introduced in 1894 by Dmitry Mendeleev, a renowned Russian chemist.

Production[edit | edit source]

Moskovskaya vodka is produced using traditional Russian methods. The vodka is distilled from wheat and rye, and is then filtered through charcoal to remove impurities. The water used in the production process is drawn from deep wells, ensuring its purity. The vodka is then bottled at 40% alcohol by volume, in accordance with the Russian vodka standard.

Taste and aroma[edit | edit source]

Moskovskaya vodka is known for its smooth, clean taste. The vodka has a slight hint of wheat and rye, which gives it a unique flavor. The aroma of Moskovskaya vodka is subtle, with notes of grain and a slight hint of alcohol.

Availability[edit | edit source]

Moskovskaya vodka is available in many countries around the world. The brand is particularly popular in Russia and Eastern Europe, but it is also widely available in Western Europe, North America, and Asia.
