Function[edit | edit source]

The exact function of NSP2 is not yet fully understood. However, it is believed to play a role in the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is one of the first proteins to be produced by the virus after it infects a cell. NSP2 is thought to interact with host cell proteins to facilitate the replication of the virus.

Structure[edit | edit source]

NSP2 is a large protein, consisting of approximately 638 amino acids. The structure of NSP2 is not yet fully known, but it is believed to have a complex structure with multiple domains.

Role in COVID-19[edit | edit source]

As NSP2 is a protein produced by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it plays a role in the COVID-19 disease. Understanding the function and structure of NSP2 could potentially lead to the development of treatments for COVID-19.
