Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Whitefield
Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Whitefield was a private multi-speciality hospital located in Whitefield, Bangalore, India. It was a part of the Narayana Health Group and operated under their network. The hospital offered a range of medical services including orthopaedic surgery, renal sciences, women's and paediatric care, general surgery, and critical care units for cardiology.
The hospital, commissioned in July 2013, was founded by Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, the Chairman and Founder of Narayana Health. Dr. Shetty has been instrumental in establishing Narayana Health hospitals across India and even in the Cayman Islands, North America.
Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Whitefield had a comprehensive range of facilities and departments, including a catheterisation laboratory, critical care units, obstetric care for difficult pregnancies and premature babies, and accident and emergency care services. The hospital also had neonatal intensive care units, a radiology and medical imaging department offering various diagnostic tests, and specialities such as anaesthesia and critical care, adult cardiac surgery, ear nose and throat surgery, internal medicine, general surgery, neurology, renal sciences, and nephrology.
The hospital primarily served the neighbourhoods around the International Tech Park of Bangalore, including KR Puram, Marathahalli, Varthur, and Whitefield. However, it was closed down in November 2019, as reported by Livemint.
