Neal Patrick Dunn (born February 16, 1953) is an American politician and physician serving as the U.S. representative for Florida's 2nd congressional district since 2017. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Early life and education[edit | edit source]
Dunn was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Washington and Lee University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended medical school and became a urologist.
Military service[edit | edit source]
Dunn served in the United States Army Medical Corps for over a decade, achieving the rank of Major.
Medical career[edit | edit source]
After his military service, Dunn practiced as a urologist in Panama City, Florida. He was involved in various medical organizations and contributed to the healthcare community in the region.
Political career[edit | edit source]
Dunn was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2016, representing Florida's 2nd congressional district. He succeeded Gwen Graham. As a congressman, Dunn has focused on issues such as healthcare, veterans' affairs, and economic development.
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Dunn is married to Leah Dunn, and they have three children. They reside in Panama City, Florida.
