Padmasree Warrior (born Yellepeddi Padmasree) is an Indian-American businesswoman and technology executive. She is known for her leadership roles in major technology companies and her contributions to the field of engineering and technology.

Padmasree Warrior was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. She earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) and later received a master's degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University.

Motorola[edit | edit source]

Warrior began her career at Motorola, where she held various positions over a span of 23 years. She eventually became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and was responsible for the company's global research and development.

Cisco Systems[edit | edit source]

In 2008, Warrior joined Cisco Systems as the Chief Technology Officer. During her tenure at Cisco, she was responsible for driving the company's technology strategy and innovation. She played a key role in the development of Cisco's networking and communication technologies.

NIO[edit | edit source]

In 2015, Warrior joined NIO, a Chinese electric vehicle startup, as the Chief Development Officer and CEO of NIO USA. She was instrumental in establishing NIO's presence in the United States and advancing the company's electric vehicle technology.

In 2019, Warrior founded Fable Group, a company focused on improving mental wellness through reading. She serves as the CEO of Fable Group, which aims to create a community for book lovers and promote mental health through literature.
